  Compusphere 97, the rebirth of Compusphere, will be held In Agnebergshallen
  in Uddevalla/Sweden.

  The party will be held between the 28th and 30th november 1997.

  The party will start at 19:00 on the friday (28th)  and End 12:00
  on sunday (30th).

  We will not Let anybody in before 19:00. We need some time to set up the
  network and the tables. So there is no reason To come To early!
  Youll only have to wait outside, and november is cold you know.

  The power will not be provided before 20:00 due to technical reasons.
  Signs will be put up close by so you can find it, and if you choose to come
  by train there will, of course, be a van picking you and your stuff up and
  bring you to the party location. if you want us to pick you up, you have
  to send mail at least one week before the party starts.

  Microwave ovens, toasters etc, are not allowed on the table outlets.

  This due To the possibility of overloads and spikes.

  You will have to talk to our cable-guy if you have to connect such stuff!

  - Swedish law is valid at the party place!
  - No rasistic messages/actions will be tolerated! (that includes BOTH sides!)
  - No pirate activity is allowed.
  - No alcohol! If this is a must, ask one from the crew
    to lead you to the nearest Bar.
  - No smoking inside the party area!
  - No drugs!
  - No weapons!
  - No pets or vehicles inside the building!
  - If you break or steal anything, you will pay for it.
    (and of course we will punish you!)
  - Selling stuff WILL be allowed, as long as its legal.
    (You should contact the crew, though)
  * An almost completely NEW crew at you service.
  * A sportscentre TWICE as big as the previous places!
    1400 square-meters. (At least 700 should fit in)
  * The CS Network will naturally have internet access.
    The internet connection will be at 2Mbit.
  * Lots of toilets and showers. (It is a sportscentre, after all.)
  * Two (2) BIG screens for party-info, demos, movies, etc.
  * A quiet room for the TIRED people(tm).
  * Great BIG and LOUD sound.
  * The press will be present.
  * Inexpensive, good pizzas.
  * 20h cafe.
  * Lots of suprisecompos.
  * We will show a lot of old & new demos.

   - AMIGA Demo
     Will be run on a 68030 50 MHz 8 Mb RAM.
     maximum allowed size is 4 Mb (4096 kb).
     The demo will be shown for max. 10 minutes.
     No pure animation's will be allowed, even if they are executable.
     Must auto exit at the end of the demo.
     Must exit if mouse button is pressed.

   - PC  demo
     Will be run on AMD K6 200 mhz with 32 Mb RAM,
     Gus PnP 1 Mb, and sound blaster 16 ASP sound cards.
     Maximum allowed size is 4 Mb (4096 kb).
     The demo will be shown For Max. 10 minutes.
     No pure animation's will be allowed, even if they are executable.
     VESA 2.0 will be supported.
     dos4gw will be available in a path.
     Must auto exit at the end of the demo.
     Must exit if ESC is pressed.

   - AMIGA 64K intro.

     Allowed formats are: .mod, .s3m, .xm and .it.

   - Four Channel Music
     Only one production per musician.
     Maximum number of allowed channels is 4.
     Maximum allowed size is 1 Mb (1024 kb).

   - Graphics - Pixel
     Only one picture per graphican.
     Max. resolution will be 800x600 pixels in 8 bit color.
     The picture will be shown for max. 1 minute.
     The picture will be shown on the computer type is was drawn on.
     No Ray Traced pictures allowed.
     No ripped pictures allowed.
     No scanned pictures allowed.
     Allowed formats are: .lbm, .pcx, .gif and .jpg.
     Maximum size is 1.4mb.

   - Graphics - Ray Traced
     Only one picture per graphican.
     Max. resolution will be 800x600 pixels in 24 bit color.
     The picture will be shown for max. 1 minute.
     The picture will be shown on the computer type is was ray traced on.
     No ripped pictures allowed.
     No scanned pictures allowed.
     Allowed formats are: .lbm, .pcx, .gif and .jpg.
     Maximum size is 1.4mb.

   - Wild Compo
     Leave the contribution on VHS, burned on CD or on hard drive.
     If we can't provide the correct computer type,
     it  ill be shown on the computer it was made on.

   - Surprise
     There will be LOTS of suprisecompos during the party.

   - C64 / Linux
     If there are enough entries, we will have these compos too...
     otherwise they will be shown in the wildcompo.

   - Unserious / Fun compo
     Depending on the amount and quality of the demo entries, well maybe having
     a compo for the not so serious demos. You know, the ones where someone who
     cant code, composed or paint make a demo which everyone gets annoyed
     about cause this crap is in the demo-compo!
     (Were not talking bad demos, were talking demos where the author would do
     the world a favour If he died.) The crew will take the liberty to put such
     demos in this compo, and of course you can choose if you want to be
     in this compo.
     So if you make a demo with a `beeeeep!' and a `I made this!' text message,
     please do everyone a favour and put it in the correct (this) compo.

   - Quake
     A Quake tournament will be held for all you lamers out there.
